We are back at the Langes this week, doing a "salads" theme for dinner. Salads are versatile and diverse so it will be fun to see what we come up with! Please post in the comments whether you're coming and what you're bringing so we can somewhat plan ahead!
It looks like next Sunday is our week to help in Colossae kids. Let me know if you're able to help and we'll find you a spot.
AND, just as importantly, 5/22 is our week to clean the building BEFORE the Sunday gatherings. We have enjoyed cleaning Saturday evenings in the past (so we don't have to get there so early on Sunday), so unless there are objections we might plan on that. Mark your calendars - the more people we have to help, the faster it goes! Last time it took under an hour, right?

ReplyDeleteIf you haven't served I know it can be intimidating or unfamiliar to be in a room with kids you don't know. However, helping can be a ton of fun and super easy. The spots below aren't teaching roles, so you literally get to play with kids, give them a snack be a safe, be welcoming person and get to know some other people at the church. And at only 1 hour long- it's not that big of a time commitment.
The only thing to do in advance is fill out the background check form:
