Welcome to Progress Ridge Community Group!

We're Will, Sharon, Liam, Caleb and Noah Hale!

Our family hosts and leads this Colossae Community Group
near Big Al's in the Progress Ridge/Bull Mountain area.

Ours is a group of couples and families that enjoy gathering together over a meal to catch up after a busy week...texting and checking in on how we're doing in the midst of the daily grind...finding ways to bless each other when there is a need.

We value authenticity and opportunities for genuine connection. We also know this takes time and trust in the process of regular time together to build that space in our relationships. Especially when juggling work and family life and all the details in between. We get it- We're there too! Our hope is that over time, we can look back and see growth happening between us. It's not a linear process, but it's is enriching!

That's what we're aiming for with our group.  If that's something you want too, we'd love to have you join us!

So when do we meet and what do we do?

We meet on Thursday nights at 6pm until 8:00 or 8:30pm (or until kid's bed-times allow).
If you need our address, reach out to me at will@colossaechurch.org.

Weeks 1, 3, and 5: Full group over a meal

We gather as a large group over a potluck meal to share with everyone. It's a more casual time, meaning not driven by a structured conversation or program. If you're new, it's a wonderful time to get to know one another and to let the kids play together.

Casual doesn't mean we never go deep. The unstructured time means we're not directing anything specific. If the conversation goes deep it's great! If not- we know can connect at that level another time.  These evenings are the gateway into building relationships that extend beyond one night a week!

Our group uses the app GroupMe to coordinate meals and other activities. If you're joining for the first time,  you can email me for meal plans. If you plan to join the group regularly, we'll get you connected on GroupMe!

Week 2 & 4 break out weeks

When we meet separately, we will meet at 6:30pm to allow families time to eat dinner before the men or women meet.

On week 2, The women meet separately for an intentional time of conversation and prayer while dads care for more focused conversation of sharing, encouraging and supporting one another.
the kids- alone or with other dads as they decide each week.

On week 3 The men meet separately for the same intentional time of conversation and prayer while mom's care for the kids.

Again- Welcome and we are excited to meet you!

Will, Sharon, Liam, Caleb & Noah Hale
